Morocco's Official Reserve Assets Up 6.7%

Rabat - Morocco's official reserve assets amounted to 303.2 billion dirhams on May 7, 2021, up by 6.7% compared to the same period in 2020, Morocco's central bank (Bank Al-Maghrib) has said.

During the week of 6-12 May, 2021, Bank Al-Maghrib injected 76.7 billion dirhams.

As for the interbank rate, it has remained at 1.5%, the source added in a release.

In the same period, the Dirham depreciated by 0.33% against the Euro and appreciated by 0.58% against the US Dollar.
