In a story by Andrés Hurtado García, the publication noted that Morocco's attractiveness stems from its unique blend of history, architecture, landscapes, imperial cities, medinas, crafts and natural diversity.
Before getting lost in the alleys of the medinas or between the famous dunes of Merzouga in the Moroccan Sahara desert, one could first notice the "astonishing" development of its modern cities, it added.
With its beautiful landscapes and bright light, Morocco, "a magical country to paint," has attracted artists from all over the world, who have settled there and produced famous paintings, "El Tiempo" added.
Hundreds of painters from 62 countries, including French Eugene Delacroix and Henri Matisse are among these painters, the newspaper said, noting that several writers were inspired by the Kingdom and its culture such as Peter Bowles, Juan Goytisolo, William Burroughs, Allen Ginsberg and Saint-Exupéry.
The daily also highlighted the dynamics of cooperation between Morocco and Colombia as well as the willingness of both parties to strengthen commercial, cultural and political ties.
Morocco can, for example, accompany Colombia on advanced technologies such as solar energy, the Kingdom being a world leader in this field, "El Tiempo" concluded.
