Rabat - The icon of Moroccan popular song Hajja El Hamdaouia died Monday morning in a hospital in Rabat, at the age of 91, after a long illness, her family said.
One of the most renowned artists of the art of Aïta, Hajja El Hamdaouia has left her mark on the popular musical repertoire for decades.
She will be buried in the Achouhada cemetery in Casablanca, according to the same source.
