These investments account for 47% of Morocco's total foreign direct investments (FDI), DEPF said in the latest issue of its publication "Policy Africa" dedicated to the profiles of African economies.
Moroccan FDI in the region fluctuates from year to year, but remains high as it accounted for up to 92.2% of outward FDI flows in 2010, the same source added.
Morocco is present in more than 14 African country including Côte d'Ivoire (13%), Chad (12%), Senegal (9%), Madagascar (7%), Cameroon (4%), and Mauritius (3%).
