The two officials examined, on this occasion, the means to give concrete substance to the memorandum of understanding signed in March 2019, between the governments of the two countries, namely housing, town planning, dematerialization and digitization.
The two parties agreed to organize a meeting between the departments concerned of the two countries, in order to identify the priority avenues of collaboration under this memorandum of understanding, relating notably to the sharing of expertise and know-how in the field of social housing construction, the slum-free cities program, urban planning and the dematerialization and digitization of territories, in addition to the access of young Rwandans to Moroccan schools of architecture, as part of diploma-based training or continuous training.
This memorandum of understanding, signed within the framework of the first session of the Moroccan-Rwanda Joint Committee, provides for the establishment of an action program in the various aspects of partnership, the definition of areas of capacity-building, support-counseling and the promotion of collaboration between the private sector of the two countries in real estate development.
