During a meeting with Zakia Driouch, Secretary-General of the Department of Fisheries at the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Rural Development and Water and Forests, the delegation expressed its keenness to develop cooperation between Morocco and the Basque Country, notably in the sector of transformation and valorization of fisheries products and plastic recycling from fishing.

Speaking on this occasion, Driouch said this meeting was an opportunity to exchange ways of cooperation between Morocco and the Basque Country in fisheries, one of the promising sectors of the Moroccan economy.

This visit will also an opportunity for the Basque delegation to meet with Moroccan businessmen and entrepreneurs operating in the sector.
