The seminar, which has become a regular exercise carried out by MAP, aims to enable young recruits to take ownership of the company's culture and to get to know its actual role in Morocco's economy, culture and society, Hachimi Idrissi told M24 News Channel, on the occasion of the launch of the integration seminar for new recruits, under the theme "Taking Ownership of an Approach of Excellence."
It also aims to allow young recruits to learn about the diversity of MAP's products, he explained. "There can be no quality products or approaches to excellence without a method of quality and excellence."
"We rely upstream on their training and we bring them today's MAP methodology and culture which is based on results, innovation, ambition and especially on quality and excellence," Hachimi Idrissi underlined. The supervision of these recruits must be done with the values, principles and methods of the company, he added.
"If we do not proceed in this manner, the supervision of young recruits will be done in an anarchic and disorderly manner," MAP Director-General said, inviting young recruits to follow, with a very open mind, the career plan offered by the Agency, which is "the first public information hub" in the country.
Speaking on this occasion, MAP Secretary-General, Rachid Boumhil said that recruitment, which is now a major stake, is among the concerns of the Agency.
MAP values, which relate to ambition, innovation, openness, ethics and professionalism as well as public service, are a vector of thoughts, a central thread of behavior and the guiding principle of attitudes adopted, he stated. "Integration is a whole cycle that will last a whole year to allow young recruits to join the company's culture and to develop other skills.".
In similar remarks, MAP Information Director Abdelghani Aouifia noted that, during the last decade, the Agency has embarked in a vast reform project aimed at maintaining and strengthening its position as the powerhouse of the national press and a leader in the Arab and African region.
This project -- in the absence of which MAP was facing the risk of failing in its mission of protecting national sovereignty in the field of information-- established the diversification of products as the keystone of a change process, he said.
MAP's diversified services have brought a new breath of fresh air to the Agency's work and transformed the institution into a true multi-media public information hub, which is about to take on a new dimension with the entry on the scene of M24 and RIM Radio.
For her part, personal development consultant, trainer and expert-coach, Atika Abenkcer Zairi stressed that human capital is at the core of MAP's priorities thanks to modern human resources management geared towards success. The key word of this remarkable transformation is excellence.
The opening of the two-day seminar (Feb. 19-20) at the Bouregreg yacht club was marked by presentations given by MAP directors, focusing on "A New Human Capital Policy to Cultivate Excellence"; "New MAP Formats and Products"; "Monetization for Development Projects"; "Challenger and innovation by metrics"; "Witnessing a Real Change" and "M24 and RIM, the New Face of Cross Media MAP".
This training cycle focused on soft skills is carried out by specialized coaches who are certified worldwide and have all the necessary qualifications to successfully complete this project.
A total of 9 training sessions will be held throughout the year on themes geared towards building excellence and incorporating performance for each participant.
