During this meeting, Hachimi Idrissi and Ben Mohamed El Malek expressed their shared desire to strengthen relations between the two institutions with a view to signing a partnership agreement based on programs and achievements in the areas of capacity building and training for media, particularly in Africa, in addition to the fields of publications, culture, science and education.
During this meeting, light was shed on the functioning of MAP and ISESCO and on some of the important productions of the two institutions, while reviewing the changes made in their perceptions and working mechanisms.
Speaking on this occasion, Hachimi Idrissi affirmed that MAP is ready to foster cooperation with ISESCO through the conclusion of an agreement according to innovative formulas that benefit from the media attributes of the Agency, stressing that it is a matter of consolidating a real and tangible cultural relationship.
The MAP presidency of the Atlantic Federation of African News Agencies (FAAPA) opens up broad prospects for cooperation in the field of media training at the continental level, he added.
For his part, Ben Mohamed El Malek noted that this "fruitful and constructive" meeting is intended to be a starting point for reinforcing the partnership between ISESCO and MAP.
He also stressed that the two parties aspire to conclude an agreement comprising training and qualification programs for a large number of executives in the field of media in all its forms.
The Organization also intends to hold symposia and conferences in partnership with MAP, said Ben Mohamed El Malek in a statement to Moroccan news channel "M24" after this meeting.
He also added that ISESCO is committed to supporting the 7th World Congress of News Agencies that MAP will organize in Marrakesh in 2022.
