Speaking during the ANP Board of Directors, chaired by Minister of Equipment, Transport, Logistics and Water Abdelkader Amara, Laraki specified that the Agency will mobilize 2.2 billion dirhams of investments for the period 2021-2023, including 802.6 million dirhams for the year 2021, said a press release from the ministry.
Regarding financial indicators, she said that the Agency's turnover for next year will exceed 2 billion dirhams, showing a clear improvement compared to the forecast for 2020.
At the same time, Laraki indicated that the ports under the ANP have shown great agility in the face of the health crisis linked to the pandemic of the new coronavirus (covid-19), by quickly putting in place the processes adapted to the new context. These ports recorded at the end of November 2020 a volume of 84.7 MT, up 5.3% compared to the same period of the past year.
For his part, Amara praised the efforts made by the ANP to ensure the continuity of the operation of the ports despite the conditions of this crisis, noting that during the lockdown, the ports remained the only border point open for the entry and exit of goods.
