In response to a question on "the Ministry's strategy to overcome the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic" at the House of Representatives, Elalamy explained that thanks to the measures taken by his department to deal with the effects of the pandemic, 93% of jobs were recovered in the industry sector during the month of July.
100% of jobs were recovered in the pharmaceutical sector, 97% in the automotive sector and 92% in the textile and leather sector, despite the regression experienced by this sector due to the second wave of the Coronavirus, the minister added.
The national strategies have yielded results thanks to industrial systems, Elalamy said, noting that the goals set for the year 2020 have been achieved, especially in terms of jobs creations, with more than 505,000 jobs.
In terms of support for SMEs, the minister said that a series of special Covid-19 programs have been established, including the funding of 69 projects launched by young people for an investment of DH 507 million, which helped create 4,115 jobs.
On the digitization of the administration, Elalamy noted that the number of administrations that now use the digital order desk and the electronic signature has increased from 30 to 900 in six months.
