Bank Of Africa, CCCME Ink MoU to Consolidate Financial Operations

Rabat - Bank Of Africa (BMCE Group) signed, Monday in Beijing, through its Shanghai branch, a Memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products (CCCME), aimed at consolidating bilateral cooperation in financial and commercial operations.

Signed by CCCME Vice President, Liu Chun, and General Manager of Bank Of Africa (Shanghai branch), Said Arden, this MoU aims to establish the basis for a lasting cooperation between the Moroccan bank and CCCME members by offering them trade finance and corporate banking products tailored to their business needs, especially with African importers, Bank of Africa said Tuesday in a press release.

The CCCME is one of the most important chambers of commerce in China. It has 10,000 members who account for 60% of China's total exports.

The signing ceremony took place in the presence of CCCME President Zhang Yujing and of Economic Counselor at Morocco's Embassy to China, Reda Oudgiri.
