This book contains quotations from speeches and messages of the Sovereign, as explained by MAP Director General, Khalil Hachimi Idrissi, in the incipit of "this little blue book".
Composed of 655 small-format pages, "Verbatim 1999-2020" looks back over 21 years of reign, "during which all the themes concerning the future of the nation are addressed".
"It is the methodology of a King that is revealed here," writes Hachimi Idrissi.
A methodology based on "a systematic inventory of the most urgent questions, the most acute problems, the sharpest difficulties, the most ambitious projects, the highest moral and religious demands and the most exhilarating challenges".
From HM the King's speech at the opening of the session of the Supreme Council of the Judiciary on December 15, 1999 in Rabat, to the message addressed by the Sovereign to the High-Level meeting on Action for Peacekeeping dated September 25, 2018 in New York, the reader goes through (…) the history of a nation and its King.
The reader is invited, in his consultation, to address the content of this book, both in its geographical and linguistic aspects.
"The daring nature of the speeches of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, turned towards excellence, and without compromise with irresponsibility or mediocrity, has marked Moroccans of all generations," concludes Hachimi Idrissi.
