The local authorities of Béni Mellal have decided to extend the closing time of supermarkets to 9:00 p.m. instead of 8:00 p.m. and to reopen gyms within the limit of 50% of their capacity while the time of their closure was set at 8:00 p.m., said a statement from the prefecture of this province.

Local authorities have also allowed large taxis to carry 4 passengers instead of 3 previously.

In addition, hammams, games rooms and local stadiums were kept closed while the closing hours of cafes and local shops were set at 8:00 p.m., those of parks and leisure areas at 6:00 p.m.

The local authorities call on the citizens of the Beni Mellal-Khénifra region to respect individually and collectively the rules of prevention, in particular hygiene, the correct and permanent wearing of face masks, social distancing in addition to avoiding gatherings and going out unless in cases of extreme necessity.
