According to preliminary investigations, the minor had left the family home since Friday, September 11 without any notice having been filed with the police services in this regard, until her father notified police after she was found in a public park, the national police (DGSN) said in a statement.

Searches and investigations by the judicial police revealed that after leaving the family home, two people lured the victim and then raped her, without violence, at the home of one of them in the "Zine El-Abidine" neighborhood in Safi, said the DGSN, stating that the searches led to the identification of the two suspects and the arrest of one of them.

The suspect has been placed in police custody to complete the preliminary investigation conducted under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor's office in order to determine the ins and outs of this case, while research and investigations are continuing to arrest the second suspect involved in these criminal acts, the statement concluded.
