These talks are part of the Morocco-Russia in-depth strategic partnership, concluded during HM the King's visit to Russia in March 2016.

The two officials  welcomed the positive dynamic of bilateral relations as well as the preparations underway for holding the 8th session of the Joint Russian-Moroccan Intergovernmental Commission, slated for December 2nd in Moscow and for the official visit of Mr. Bourita to Russia.

The talks focused on the latest developments of the Libyan issue in the light of the results of the Libyan dialogue sessions between delegations of the High Council of State and the Tobruk Parliament, held in Bouznika on September 6 through 10.

Talks also touched on regional and international issues of common interest.
