"I warmly welcome the efforts of the Kingdom of Morocco and its contribution to the revival of the inter-Libyan dialogue for a political solution to the crisis," tweeted the Hungarian MP, member of the delegation for relations with the Maghreb countries and the European Parliament Committee on Foreign Affairs.
He affirmed that "stability and peace in Libya is an indispensable condition to ensure the prosperity of the Maghreb region".
The international community hailed Morocco for hosting, since September 6 in Bouznika, sessions of inter-Libyan dialogue, which led to a comprehensive agreement on transparent and objective criteria and mechanisms to occupy posts of sovereignty, and transcend the differences that have led to an institutional vacuum in the country.
Held between the delegations of the High Council of State and the Tobruk Parliament, five years after the Skhirate Agreement, this dialogue confirms Morocco's willingness to support stability and security in Libya, and in the region as a whole, as well as its efforts to bring Libyans together under the aegis of the United Nations.
