In a statement issued Thursday, the Cairo-based organisation lauded the holding of these dialogue sessions at the initiative of Morocco, after both parties recently announced a ceasefire, expressing the hope that these sessions will lead to a comprehensive political settlement of the current crisis in the country.
The Afro-Asian Peoples' Solidarity Organisation noted that these inter-Libyan political dialogue sessions "are proceeding in a positive and constructive manner and have resulted in important agreements," emphasizing the interest of the Libyan parties to achieve positive and tangible results that will pave the way for a comprehensive political settlement throughout the country.
