"France welcomes the efforts of the Kingdom of Morocco to relaunch the inter-Libyan political dialogue. The initiatives in favor of inclusive political discussions in Libya, particularly those of countries in the region, are essential for a way out of the crisis," said the spokeswoman of the French ministry of Foreign Affairs.
"There is no military solution to the Libyan conflict: the way out of the crisis will be political. To this end, we call for the resumption of the inter-Libyan political dialogue in an inclusive format, under the aegis of the United Nations. The efforts undertaken by Morocco contribute to this," the spokeswoman added during an electronic press briefing.
Morocco hosts since Sunday Libyan dialogue sessions between delegations of the High Council of State and the Tobruk Parliament, aimed at maintaining the cease-fire and opening negotiations to end the conflict between the Libyan protagonists.
