Morocco's Commitment to Fundamental Values of Palestinian Cause, Incessant and Unconditional (FM)

Cairo - Morocco's commitment to the fundamental values of the Palestinian cause, consisting in the search for a just settlement ending the Israeli occupation of Palestinian territories and allowing the establishment of an independent Palestinian State with Al-Quds East as its capital, living side by side with Israel in peace and stability, is incessant and unconditional, said Wednesday minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita.

Morocco's commitment to the fundamental values of this settlement is " incessant, unconditional and is equaled only by the sustained effort to seek diplomatic, political, legal and practical steps and channels to achieve a solution or, at least, meet the conditions necessary for its sustainability, so as to achieve peace in the Middle East and promote integration beneficial to all countries in the region, said Bourita at the 154th session of the Council of the Arab League at the level of Foreign ministers.

"Critical, the current situation must challenge us to stimulate the taking of initiatives and get out of the wait-and-see attitude, by reconsidering some of the methods followed and by opening up to all the major players in this issue," added Bourita during this session held by videoconference.
