The two parties discussed developments in the Palestinian question, stressing that the two-state solution embodied by an independent and sovereign Palestinian state with Al-Quds as its capital, in accordance with the provisions of international law, international legitimacy and the Arab Peace Initiative, is the only way to resolve the conflict and achieve peace, according to a statement by the Jordanian Foreign ministry.
The two ministers also discussed the prospects for bilateral cooperation in all fields, noting the importance of moving forward to strengthen the long-standing fraternal relations linking the two brotherly kingdoms through broader consultations in accordance with the guidelines of the two heads of State HM King Mohammed VI and HM King Abdullah II.
