Production have recorded an increase, with a capacity utilization rate (TUC) which would have increased to 67% in July after settling at 64% in June, said the BAM in its monthly economic survey in industry.
As for sales, they have progressed both on the local market and abroad, said the same source, adding that orders have fallen and the order book is located at a level lower than the normal.
By branch of activity, production and sales would have increased in all branches with the exception of "chemicals and parachemicals" where sales have stagnated.
Regarding global orders, their decline reflects that of all branches of activity except for "textiles and leather" and "mechanics and metallurgy" where they have progressed. The order book was at a lower level than normal in all branches.
