The university said in a press release that it was able to position itself in this new ranking, among the first 1,000 universities in the world, by improving its national ranking from 3rd spot last year to 2nd this year.

These performances confirm the honorable position of Ibn Tofail University which has positioned itself as one of the best in the world (among the top 200), first in the Kingdom and fourth in Africa and the Arab world, according to another Times Higher Education ranking category, based on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), published in April 2020, said the same source.

This achievement shows Ibn Tofail University's commitment to the four pillars of this international ranking, based on the quality of education, research, knowledge transfer and internationalization, the statement noted.
