A 3-year-old girl died on the spot following the accident due to bad weather conditions and strong winds, while her 14-year-old sister died moments later, according to Italian media.

Their older sister (19), who was injured in the accident, was rushed into a hospital. Their parents were also slightly injured.

According to the same sources, an investigation has been opened on this incident.

The Moroccan Ambassador to Italy, Youssef Bella, has contacted the family of the two victims and expressed to them on behalf of the Embassy and the Moroccan community in this country, his condolences and sincere feelings of compassion.

The ambassador told the bereaved family that the Moroccan consular services in Tuscany and Piedmont are mobilized to provide them with all kinds of support.

Originally from Turin, the family was there on vacation.
