The governor of the province, Mohamed Salem Essabti, issued, in this regard, a decision setting the closing times of shops and stores and public spaces, in accordance with the procedures and measures taken to protect the public health of citizens and curb the spread of Covid-19 in this part of the national territory.

The decision set the closing times for cafes and restaurants at 9:00 p.m., artisans' shops at 6:00 p.m., commercial premises at 10:00 p.m., local shopping centers at 3:00 p.m., while public gardens, hammams, sport fields and gyms will remain completely closed until further notice.

According to this decision, these exceptional measures will be in force for a renewable week depending on the evolution of the epidemiological situation in the province.

The offenders will be prosecuted according to the laws in force under the state of health emergency, said the same source, recalling that the application of the provisions of this decision has been entrusted to the competent judicial services, as well as to the local and security authorities.
