Touria Jebrane, who is considered as an icon of theatre, has also left her mark on television and cinema.

Her career was marked by several successes and great contributions during the 70s, 80s and 90s. 

She took part in the founding of numerous theatre groups, including Masrah Achaab, Masrah Al Fourja and Masrah al Fannanin al Mouttahidine.

Touria Jebrane was the minister of Culture between 2007 and 2009.

She had won several prizes and awards in many national, Arab and international festivals.
