The head of the Commission Gilmer Trujillo Zegarra indicated in a statement, published on the occasion of the Throne Day, that Morocco succeeded, since the accession of HM the King to the Throne of his Glorious ancestors, in strengthening the rule of law and making human development the key word of its various development strategies.
Trujillo Zegarra highlighted the quality of relations between Morocco and Peru, stressing that the two countries have historical and excellent relations of friendship and cooperation based on the values of dialogue and the promotion of sustainable economic development.
In the same context, he recalled the setting up of the Peru-Morocco Parliamentary Friendship Group at the Peruvian Parliament, noting that this mechanism highlights the excellent relations between the legislative institutions of the two countries.
The friendship group, chaired by Martha Gladiz Chávez Cossío, head of the list of the "Popular Force" party and former speaker of the Peruvian Parliament, aims to share information and experiences in parliamentary matters, as well as promote dialogue, cooperation and consultation on matters of common interest.
