In an interview with the Peruvian magazine "Embajador", Chaoudri stressed that "the Kingdom attaches great importance and particular priority to strengthening political, economic and cultural cooperation with the CAN countries, at bilateral and multilateral levels, and within the framework of South-South cooperation".
In this regard, he affirmed that the diversification of partners and the promotion of South-South cooperation are among the pillars of Morocco's foreign policy, under the leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, recalling the Sovereign's historic visit in 2004 to many Latin American countries.
The CAN and Morocco, which plays a major role in the bringing together between the Arab world and Latin America in general, have the means to consolidate the excellent relations already linking the two parties and to further strengthen dialogue and coordination on issues of common interest at the regional and international levels, he said.
The Moroccan diplomat added that the Kingdom, a flagship economic hub in its region, is a gateway for the Andean countries to the African continent and the Arab world, thanks to the great development achieved by Morocco in terms of infrastructure and air, sea and land links.
