The first group of 31 Moroccan nationals, who have been stranded for nearly four months, received negative results of the tests required before boarding a flight to Istanbul from where they will return to Morocco via Royal Air Maroc.
The ambassador of Morocco to Ethiopia and Djibouti, Nezha Alaoui M'Hamdi who met on Wednesday with Moroccan nationals on the eve of their departure, recalled the actions undertaken by the diplomatic representation of the Kingdom on their behalf since the closure of borders following the coronavirus.
The Kingdom's embassy in Addis Ababa has spared no effort to provide support and assistance to Moroccans stranded in Ethiopia for the past four months and all the services of the embassy have been mobilized to support them during their stay, said Alaoui M'Hamdi.
