In a press release, the Foundation stated that "after several weeks of rethinking access to the spaces and preparing cultural programming highlighting the national collections, the museums are ready to welcome the public by offering them a secure museum experience".
In line with the recommendations made to limit the spread of Covid-19, health measures to protect the health of visitors and staff have been put in place, the release added.
In this regard, the Foundation calls for reservations to be made by telephone prior to the visit, as a limited number of visitors will be admitted, to ensure that the required social distancing is respected, adding that on arrival, visitors must wear their masks and an agent will take the temperature before allowing access to the spaces. Also, non-contact hydroalcoholic gel dispensers will be made available to visitors at the entrance to the museums.
During the visit, the areas of the museums will be signposted to define the direction of the visit, in order to avoid crossing visitors and to respect the physical distance of one meter.
