"African countries are called upon to learn from the far-sighted vision of the Sovereign, who has made of Morocco, over a period of two decades, a champion in intra-African investments and a model of African emergence", the Rwandan political scientist and expert told MAP.
If the Kingdom is positioned today as one of the most influential countries in the continent, it is because it has been able to develop its own model according to a global and inclusive approach before targeting the African platform, he noted.
Morocco's experience in key economic sectors can help Africa meet the challenges of sustainable development, he pointed out.
"Moroccan know-how, in particular in the sectors of business, finance, agriculture and renewable energies is among the best ones on a global scale. The good news is that the Kingdom, under the leadership of a modern and visionary King, is willing to share its expertise with the positive energies of the continent," the analyst said.
In addition to its globally recognized experience and expertise, Morocco's geographic location and its relationships enable it to be a privileged interlocutor between Africa and Europe but also between Africa and the MENA region, the Rwandan expert added.
"This means that the Kingdom is well positioned to carry out the project of regional integration of the African continent, an integration based on solidarity and co-development", he underlined.
The medical aid sent by Morocco to several African countries, following the high instructions of HM King Mohammed VI, to support them in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic reflect the African solidarity advocated by the Kingdom, Nkurunziza added.
