Speaking at the opening of a consultation meeting chaired by Interior minister Abdelouafi Laftit, Ait Taleb stressed the importance of ensuring all security conditions to accommodate Moroccans living abroad who want to spend the summer holidays and Eid Al Adha in Morocco in the best conditions.

A series of measures have been taken to support the resumption of tourist activity, notably through the orientation of hotel managers to welcome tourists without problems and in adequate sanitary conditions, he said, stressing that coordinating health commissions will ensure that the operation is accompanied on the ground.

In addition, Ait Taleb assured that the epidemic situation in the Kingdom remains stable in view of the low rate of deaths and critical cases, noting that 99% of confirmed Covid-19 cases are asymptomatic.

However, it is necessary to respect preventive measures, including the wearing of masks and social distancing, concluded the minister of Health.
