Speaking to publishing houses, bookstores, authors and cultural associations, the ministry said that this deadline was extended until Friday, July 10, 2020.

The Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports Othman El Ferdaous had announced, on June 14, the launch of an exceptional program of support for cultural actors in the sphere of art and books, with a view to mitigating the socio-economic impact of the state of health emergency.

He also announced the launch, as of June 17, of a call for projects in publishing and books for 11 million dirhams in the fields of acquisition of books from bookstores and publishers for distribution in public libraries, publishing of cultural journals, operations to raise awareness of reading, as well as the participation of Moroccan authors in international fairs.
