Rabat - A 4.9-magnitude quake on the Richter scale was felt Wednesday in the province of Taounate, the National Institute for Geophysics (ING) has said.
The quake, whose epicentre is located in the Ouled Daoued commune, was recorded at 7.06 a.m. (GMT+1), the National Earthquake Surveillance and Alert Network, under the said institute, noted in a seismic alert bulletin.
