During his visit to the examination centers in the provinces of Sidi-Slimane, Sidi Yahya El Gharb and Sidi Kacem as well as in the communes of Mechra Bel Ksiri and Lalla Mimouna, the minister welcomed, in a press statement, the strict compliance with the preventive measures put in place inside examination centers, as well as the sterilization equipment and protective masks made available to candidates and educational and organizational staff.
In this regard, he highlighted the considerable efforts made by all the stakeholders for the smooth running of exams, in particular the directors of the centers, the officials of the Regional Academy of Education and Training (AREF), as well as the members of associations which were in charge of respecting the measures and reinforcing the health security of candidates.
"This visit is a way of thanking and encouraging all these players," said Amzazi, adding that it is also an opportunity to reassure students and their parents about the increased security within the centers and wish them good luck for this important stage in their lives.
For his part, the director of the AREF of Rabat-Salé-Kénitra Mohamed Aderdour noted that more than 60,000 candidates will pass the exam during the normal baccalaureate session for the 2019-2020 school year, specifying that 18,000 employees were mobilized for the smooth running of this national event.
