The Royal Initiative comes at a time when the Covid-19 pandemic has become a global and African problem that requires active pan-African solidarity, Muluzi told MAP on the sidelines of the ceremony to deliver the Moroccan aid for the benefit of Malawi.
"Morocco's aid to Malawi is a further proof of the excellent cooperation relations that exist between the two countries," said the minister, stressing that the Royal Initiative "will undoubtedly help to further cement the relations between the two countries".
The long-standing friendly relations between Morocco and Malawi will continue to develop and strengthen in the future, thanks to HM the King's initiative, said Muluzi.
"On this occasion, I would like to wish, on behalf of President Peter Mutharika and the people of Malawi, a speedy recovery to HM King Mohammed VI, may God grant him long life," said the Minister of Malawi.
This Initiative, which is part of the Kingdom's active solidarity with brotherly African countries, includes equipment and products for protection and prevention as well as a batch of medicines.
