Moroccan Medical Aid: Council of Imams and Muslim Dignitaries of Cameroon Praises Royal Initiative

Yaounde - The Council of Imams and Muslim Dignitaries of Cameroon (CIDIMUC) on Monday praised the Moroccan medical aid granted, on the highest instructions of HM King Mohammed VI, to several brotherly and friendly African countries, including Cameroon, within the framework of the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

"This health aid further honors African solidarity and reinforces the excellence of cooperation between Cameroon and the Cherifian Kingdom, one of the foundations of which lies in the sharing of a common model of Islam of peace, living together and development," the Council underlined in a statement.

In these difficult times marked by the health crisis of the Coronavirus and its economic and social impact, the CIDIMUC "presents its wishes of health and prosperity to the brotherly peoples of Morocco and Cameroon, and prays to Allah the Almighty and Merciful to bless the efforts made by the various governments, with a view to the complete eradication of the Coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19) and the gradual return to normal life," the statement concluded.
