Dakhla-Oued Eddahab: 1,714 Cases Excluded after Negative Covid-19 Tests

Dakhla - Some 1,714 suspected cases of contamination with the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) in the Dakhla-Oued Eddahab region have been ruled out after negative results of laboratory tests, the Regional Health Directorate (DRS) announced Wednesday.

 The excluded cases are divided between the provinces of Oued Eddahab (1,583) and Aousserd (131) as of June 10 at 6 p.m., said the DRS in its daily bulletin on the epidemiological situation in the region.

The Dakhla-Oued Eddahab region has been declared free of Covid-19 contamination, following the recovery of three patients who were infected at the end of May, bringing to five the number of confirmed cases in the region since the outbreak of the virus.
