"An exceptional framework has been established for the expenditure allocated to the ministry in the special Fund dedicated to the management of the pandemic, on the high instructions of HM King Mohammed VI, by adopting a new decree governing the contracts within this framework, in order to promote a proactive, rapid and operational action to meet the needs of citizens in terms of health care," he explained at a press conference on the assessment of the management of the budget allocated to the ministry of Health during the state of health emergency.

 Stressing that all decisions on health equipment contracts are made in a co-ordinated approach, the official stated that "there are no unilateral departmental contracts" and that even the laboratories scrutinize the files.

Morocco has been able to provide citizens with high-quality facilities in record time, thanks to the combined efforts of all actors, including the Central Steering Committee (CCP) which brings together the ministries of Health and Interior, Military Health and the Royal Gendarmerie, in partnership with the ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates and the diplomatic cycle, concluded the director.
