During a meeting attended by Speaker of the Lower House, Habib El Malki, on Tuesday, the officers of the House agreed on the date of June 11, 2020 to hold the monthly session on general policy, in agreement with the Head of Government, which will focus on "the government's plan for the lifting of the state of health emergency," said a press release from the legislative institution on Wednesday.
With regard to the House's action program, the members of the bureau stressed the importance of the meetings held by the standing committees last week and those scheduled for next week, which provide an opportunity for the committees concerned to ask questions on matters related to the management by the government of the state of health emergency and learn about the measures taken, the source added.
Regarding the examination of the amending finance bill, the Speaker of the House presented the legal framework governing this law in the light of the Constitution, the organic finance law and the internal regulations of the House, while stressing the importance of this stage which takes place in a context marked by the constraints of the current stage.
With regard to the weekly monitoring, it was agreed that a particular interest would be shown to the areas of tourism, craft, air transport and social economy at the plenary session of oral questions on Monday 8 June 2020.
On the diplomatic side, and in connection with the celebration of Africa Day, the Bureau of the House condemned the desperate actions undertaken by some parties hostile to the kingdom's territorial integrity at the Pan-African Parliament based on fake news in flagrant violation of the decision of the foreign ministers on the matter.
The Bureau also recalled the measures taken by the Moroccan Parliament to deal with these lies and false allegations, through a press release published on this occasion and handed to all the members of the Pan-African Parliament.
