A security operation in the Dar Aarid district of the city of Nador led to the interception of a four-wheel drive vehicle, whose passengers managed to flee during the arrest attempt, National Police (DGSN) said in a release, adding that the drug was hidden inside the vehicle.

An investigation is underway under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor's office to arrest all the people involved in this drug trafficking attempt, the source added.
