Organized on an exceptional basis, this session was dedicated to the examination and adoption of the annual report for the financial year 2019, which the president of the Council will submit to His Majesty the King, address to the head of government, and present to the two Houses of Parliament, said a statement by the Council on Friday.
This report, which was adopted unanimously by the members, presents in a first part, the assessment of the Council's activities during the year 2019 in terms of reactivating its deliberative bodies, market regulation, sector studies and legal, economic and competitive intelligence, administrative and financial governance, national and international partnerships, added the same source.
In a second part, the report sets out the Council's action plan for the year 2020, while the third part deals with the Competition Council's contribution to the national debate organized by the Special Commission in charge of the New Development Model, underlined the statement.
This session also unanimously adopted the draft opinion on the state of competition in the market for on-line payment by bank card, said the same source.
