Covid-19/Béni Mellal-Khénifra: No Infection in Four Days, 7 New Recoveries

Béni Mellal - Seven new cases of recovery from the new Coronavirus (Covid-19) have been recorded in Béni Mellal-Khénifra during the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of recoveries up to now to 61 in this region, said the Regional Directorate of Health (DRS).

The number of infection cases in the region has stabilized at 99, with no new case of contamination for four days (last Sunday), according to data from the DRS relating to the epidemiological situation linked to Covid-19.

The provincial distribution of cases infected with Covid-19 is as follows: 10 cases in Béni Mellal, 47 in Azilal, 13 in Fqih Ben Salah, 28 in Khouribga and only one case of contagion in the province of Khénifra.

The cases of recovery are 20 in Azilal, 10 in Fqih Ben Salah, 22 in Khouribga, 8 in Béni Mellal and only one case in Khénifra.

The number of cases excluded after negative test results are 3,590, the same source said,

The epidemiological situation in the region remains stable and does not cause any concern, it added.
