Covid-19: Six New Cases in Fez-Meknes Region

Fez - Six new Covid-19 cases were recorded in the region of Fez-Meknes over the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases in the region to 923, the regional health office said Thursday.

The new cases were reported in Fez (3 cases), Sefrou (2) and Meknes (1), the source added.

Fez remains the worst hit with 568 cases, followed by Meknes (118), El Hajeb (98), Taza (55), Sefrou (45), Ifrane (20), Taounate (12) and Moulay Yaacoub (7), while no case has been reported so far in the province of Boulemane.

The number of recovered Covid-19 patients in the region rose by 28 over the given period to reach 452, while the number of fatalities stands at 26.

Ninety-five new Covid-19 cases were confirmed in Morocco over the past 24 hours until Thursday at 4 p.m., bringing the total number of Covid-19 cases in the Kingdom to 6,607.
