Covid-19: 21 New Cases in Fez-Meknes Region

Fez - Twenty-one new Covid-19 cases were recorded in the region of Fez-Meknes over the past 24 hours until Wednesday at 4 p.m., taking the total of cases in the region to 917, the regional health office said.

The new cases were reported in Fez (20) and Taounate (1), the office pointed out.

Fez remains the hardest hit with 565 cases, ahead of Meknes (117), El Hajeb (98), Taza (55), Sefrou (43), Ifrane (20), Taounate (12) and Moulay Yaacoub (7), while no case has been recorded so far in the province of Boulemane.

Eight covid-19 patients recovered over the past 24 hours in the region, which rises the number of recoveries to 424, while the number of fatalities remains at 26.
