Rabat - No case of the novel coronavirus has been recorded among the detainees or the staff at the local prison of Sefrou, said the prison administration on Tuesday.

The source dismissed the "baseless" allegations contained in a video posted on YouTube claiming that 22 Covid-19 cases were reported at the local prison of Sefrou.

According to the same source, the General Delegation for Prison Administration and Reintegration is keen to inform public opinion on the situation in prisons in connection with the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.
