Covid-19: 14 New Cases in Fez-Meknes Region

Fez - A total of 14 new Covid-19 cases were recorded in the region of Fez-Meknes over the past 24 hours, rising the total of cases in the region to 721, the regional health office said on Thursday.

The new cases were reported in Fez (13) and Taounate (1).

Fez remains the hardest hit in the region with 499 cases, ahead of Meknes (115), Taza (55), Ifrane (20), Sefrou (14), Taounate (10), Moulay Yaacoub (6) and El Hajeb (2).

No covid-19 case has been reported so far in the province of Boulemane.

According to the same source, 24 Covid-19 patients recovered over the given period, which brings the number of recoveries in the region to 345, while the number of fatalities stands at 26.

A total of 140 new Covid-19 cases were confirmed in Morocco over the past 24 hours until Thursday at 4 p.m., bringing the total number of Covid-19 cases in the Kingdom to 5,548.
