Covid-19: 78 New Cases in Region of Rabat-Salé-Kenitra

Rabat - Seventy-eight new cases of the novel coronavirus were reported in the region of Rabat-Salé-Kenitra over the past 24 hours, bringing the total of cases in the region to 453, the regional health office has said.

According to the same source, 234 covid-19 patients have recovered and 11 people died from coronavirus complications until Tuesday at 4 p.m.

Rabat is the worst hit with 166 cases, ahead of Salé (146), Skhirat-Temara (99), Kenitra (34), Khemisset (7) and Sidi Slimane (1), while no case has been reported so far in the province of Sidi Kacem.

A total of 166 new Covid-19 cases were confirmed in Morocco over the past 24 hours, bringing to 5,219 the total number of Covid-19 cases in the country.
