Six of these agreements concern the industry sector, 4 the services sector, 2 agriculture and one agreement relates to the construction and public works sector, the minister said, noting that this momentum continued at the beginning of 2020 with the conclusion of nearly six collective labor agreements covering different sectors, and the implementation of several other draft agreements whose signing or development process has been impacted by the fight against the spread of the pandemic of the new coronavirus.
In addition, the ministry has worked with social actors to ensure the regularity of meetings of tripartite consultative bodies established under the Labor Code, said Amekraz, highlighting the upgrading of the legal and institutional framework of occupational health and safety to bring it into line with international labor standards.
