El Otmani said in a press statement following his review of the work by the unit in charge of monitoring market supply at the Ministry of Industry, Trade, Green and Digital Economy, that this unit follows all manufacturing operations for combating the repercussions of the new coronavirus.

The unit also supervises the distribution of basic foodstuffs and products, and the supply of markets with these products, in addition to other medical and paramedical products, including masks, to check the produced quantity as well as distribution methods and outlets, he said.

The Head of Government lauded, on this occasion, the efforts of the unit which "works continuously, day and night, to monitor this operation and avoid any shortage".
