Covid-19/Souss-Massa: Toll Stabilizes at 50 Cases of Infection and 16 Cases of Recovery

Agadir - The number of cases of infection with the new coronavirus (Covid-19) in the Souss-Massa region stabilized on Monday at 50, remaining unchanged compared to the last toll (Sunday at 6:00 p.m.), said the Regional Health Department.

    
The Souss-Massa region also reported 16 cases of recovery and 6 fatalities, according to data from the Regional Health Department, relating to the evolution of the Covid-19 pandemic.

With regard to the geographical distribution of contamination cases, the body said that the prefecture of Agadir-Ida Outanane ranks first with 22 cases, followed by Inezgane-Ait Melloul (21 cases), the province of Tata (04 cases), Chtouka-Ait Baha (02 cases) and Taroudant (01 cases), while no case has been reported so far in the province of Tiznit.

Some 50 additional cases of infection with the new coronavirus (Covid-19) were confirmed in Morocco until Monday at 10:00 am, bringing to 4,115 the total number of contamination cases, the Ministry of Health had announced.
